Detailed objective 2

The targeted main achievement is a set of design and decision-support tools, consists of:

·        A Semantic Web design configurator to generate and integrate the most optimal EeB solutions based on an open-source library of building and district typologies and parametric models of the EeB technologies.

·        A semantic web based integration platform of BIM and GIS data, including recommendations for the further open-standardisation of BIM – GIS interfaces, especially in the area of energy modelling.

·          BIM and GIS based energy performance assessment tools coupled with the Product Lifecycle Models (PLM) that contain the whole lifecycle information of the buildings, includes design, construction, operation and maintenance. The comprehensive analysis will proceed through cloud computing.

·          Tools for quantifying, simulating, and validating the energy performance and optimisation scenarios at building and neighbourhood level.

·         Design decision-support tool to analyse the most optimal design configurations, taking into account energy use, Lifecycle Cost (LCC), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Return on Investment (ROI).
